Job Summary:
The Junior Software Engineer will work on product development and software maintenance tasks related to SemaConnect’s EVSE and associated network operations. The ideal candidate will be a versatile individual who has a breadth of knowledge and experience in software development. The candidate will work on a range of problems spanning low-level embedded code to web application programming. A dedication to quality, a passion for solving problems, and the initiative to acquire knowledge will be key assets.
Responsibilities:
- - Contribute to product development in C, PHP and other higher level languages
- - Maintenance of existing code including bug fixes, feature enhancements and diagnosis of field-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
- - B.S. in Computer Science or related field
- - System-level or embedded programming in C
- - Other high-level language experience
- - Linux command line experience
- - Excellent diagnostic ability
- - Ability to self-teach
- - Willingness to travel locally to field installations (4-5 days/month)
- - Home location within 1 hour of Annapolis, MD
- - Willingness to work very hard in a new highly competitive industry to achieve product and service excellence.

Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding SemaConnect's sales program to a national footprint. This position will be responsible for opening the north eastern U.S. region, initially targeting the NY City metro area and then growing to the entire North East. The successful candidate will identify well qualified prospects and drive sales of a high technology product into traditional market segments. The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling energy efficiency or renewable energy products into segments that include commercial real estate, Fortune 500 corporation, parking management, and architecture/engineering.

Subject: National Accounts Sales Manager position
Electronics Technician
Job Summary:
SemaConnect is a technology company that has developed innovative microprocessor based systems for charging electric vehicles. We are looking for a technician that can assemble, troubleshoot and repair digital and analog circuits. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory, installing our systems in the field, and will work out of our Annapolis office.
Essential Functions:
- - Conducts functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, and harnesses using digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other test equipment.
- - Soldering and de-soldering of electronic components and wiring for our systems. This involves both assembly of new units as well as repair and maintenance of older units.
- - Set up standard test apparatus or devise test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production model per test procedures.
- - Responsible for product assembly / fabrication procedures, debugging and troubleshooting.
- - Follow company procedures regarding inventory.
- - Follow up with vendors to source components, obtain quotes, place orders and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- - Interact with contract manufacturers regarding production.
Essential Qualifications
- - Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Armed Forces technical training or equivalent experience.
- - Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
- - Ability to read and interpret work instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures and use equipment like oscilloscopes, Digital multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- - Ability to test and debug electronic circuits involving digital and analog components. Familiarity with tools like JTAG ICE is an advantage.
