Position Summary
SemaConnect is looking for a tenacious and self-starting Marketing Specialist to support the Marketing department with B2B initiatives.  This person will play an integral role in supporting the Marketing and Sales team by generating qualified leads through marketing campaigns and outreach such as e-newsletters, direct mail, e-mail marketing, and more.  This role has the potential for a marketing career path.
Responsibilities
  • Experience designing and developing copywriting for e-mail blasts using e-mail marketing software such as iContact, Constant Contact, Mad Mimi, etc.
  • Maintain at minimum 80% knowledge of Salesforce and Act-On, or other marketing automation software such as Eloqua, Microsoft Dynamics, Pardot and more.
  • Build and manage B2B direct e-mail campaigns within marketing automation software such as Eloqua, Microsoft Dynamics, Pardot and more.
  • Develop, promote and execute social media campaigns that drive inbound leads.
  • Strong and professional written and oral communications skills for drafting press releases, copywriting, blog writing projects and more.
  • Represent SemaConnect at external events by being highly informed about our technology, products and services and providing a professional and positive first impression at all events.
  • Support a national Sales team with their regional needs and handling the logistics of national and regional events.
  • Possess advanced skill level in Excel with building and maintaining datasheets, financial reports and research.
  • Demonstrate advanced research skills on targeting multiple market segments, industry trends, trade publications and regional territories.
  • Coordinate with Operations team to ensure customer satisfaction through our Marketing post-sale process.
  • Knowledgeable about B2B Marketing and Public Relations best practices.  Media buying advertising skills are a plus, but not required.
  • Demonstrate an open-minded, professional and mature attitude in dealing with international team members, contractors and customers.
  • Any other task as assigned by the head of Marketing.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications or Public Relations)
  • Minimum 3- 5 years experience in a related field or B2B Marketing environment
  • Experience working with Salesforce and Marketing Automation software such as Act-On, Pardot, Eloqua, etc.
  • Advanced skill level with e-mail marketing software such as iContact, Constant Contact, Mad Mimi, MailChimp and more
  • Mature, professional, optimistic and self-starting personality and attitude
  • Highly organized individual who excels at project management
  • Goal oriented individual that possess strong desire to succeed and continue learning
  • Master skill level in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
