FORT MYERS, Fla. – On the heels of its official grand opening in May 2021, the Murano at Three Oaks Apartments announces the opening of two new SemaConnect electric vehicle charging stations for new residents. Developed by Courtelis Company and managed by Cottonwood Residential, Murano at Three Oaks is Fort Myers’s newest luxury community and the first to install EV charging stations in the neighborhood.
Murano at Three Oaks is an upscale community located within minutes of I-75, downtown Fort Myers, and Cape Coral beaches. Luxury amenities include a resort-inspired pool, zen garden, pet spa, and private garages. First envisioned in 2018 and completed in 2021, the new community is part of Courtelis and Cottonwood’s plans for forward-thinking residences with everyday luxury. The two new SemaConnect charging stations are compatible with all new and upcoming plug-in electric vehicles in North America including Tesla, the Nissan Leaf, and the new Ford F-150 Lightning.
“Murano at Three Oaks was designed for all-inclusive, contemporary living,” said Maria Smith, area vice president at Cottonwood Residential. “Our residents are looking for communities with top amenities, and we’re planning for the future with electric car charging stations. We’ve already heard great feedback from our new residents with Teslas, and we look forward to welcoming more EV drivers home to the Murano.”
“This year, Fort Myers is a top region for new construction,” said Tony Sargent, senior vice president of sales at SemaConnect. “Cortelis Company and Cottonwood Residential are setting a new standard for luxury apartments in South Florida with their new SemaConnect charging stations. We’re excited to add the Murano at Three Oaks to our portfolio of luxury apartment communities with EV charging stations in South Florida. Florida drivers and residents want the very best, and SemaConnect delivers the 24/7 service they have come to expect. We’re honored to be Cortelis Company and Cottonwood Residential’s choice for EV charging at Murano at Three Oaks and we look forward to further expansion in the Fort Myers region.”
The two SemaConnect Series 6 charging stations are mounted on a dual pedestal and are ready to charge EVs at the Murano. Interactive LED lights show station status at a glance, and the weatherproof aluminum casing and cable management system are designed for Florida’s ever-changing weather. With the cloud-based SemaConnect Network, property management can manage access, set custom pricing, and generate reports on usage and sustainability. Murano residents can view personal charging reports, find nearby stations, and start charging with the SemaConnect mobile app.
